Since 2015, the year it was founded, the Terra Balance Group promotion of and participation in businesses is aimed at launching disruptive technologies whose application has a positive impact on the environment.
2016
Circular economy: conversion of waste
sludge into
organo-mineral fertilizer
In 2016, through the invested company Agristarbio, Terra Balance promoted the development of a chemical reactor with the purpose of treating industrial and urban sludges and transforming them into a high-performance organo-mineral fertilizer with characteristics that are unique in the market. This reactor is now recognized as the most innovative way to, in a sustainable, circular and 100% clean way, treat waste and convert it into an NPK fertilizer with high agronomic value.
2017-2021
Application of
beneficial microorganisms in agriculture in general
With the collaboration of Portuguese and foreign universities, the Group has been searching for solutions that apply the beneficial effects of microorganisms in agriculture in general. It's most recent company in the area of biotechnology is being set up based on our commitment to favoring the natural processes, which are part of the environmental balance and represent clean and sustainable solutions.
At the moment
Investigation of new methods for water treatment and disinfection
Currently, the focus is on the investigation of new methods for the treatment and disinfection of water (drinking and urban or industrial waste water), which could represent a definitive solution to the problem of livestock effluents. We are committed to working to find the best solutions for water recycling, in order to achieve 100% reuse of effluents from that industry.
